Ingredients :
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 tbsp sour cream
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup unpeeled apples
Directions :
- Heat the oven to 325F
- Grease and dust with flour one 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
- Cut butter into sugar using two knives in a scissors fashion.
- Add the eggs, one at a time.
- Beat using a wooden spoon, after each addition.
- Blend in the vanilla, then the sour cream.
- Sift your dry ingredients together.
- Then add the nuts to the dry ingredients.
- Combine the dry ingredients into the sour cream mixture.
- Gently stir in the apples.
- Pour into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes clean.
