Ingredients :
- 2 1/2 lbs. of SAUERKRAUT
- 2 1/2 lbs. potatoes
- 3/4 lb. sausages
- salt
Method :
- Wash the sauerkraut thoroughly and boil for 30 minutes in 1/2 pint of water with a little salt.
- Add the peeld and sliced potatoes and the sausages, and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes, till the potatoes and sausages are cooked.
- White beans are sometimes used instead of potatoes.
