Plattar (Swedish Pancakes)

Make a pancake batter with 2 1/2 cups of flour, 2 eggs, 1 quart of milk, 4 tablespoons of butter, 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
Mix the flour and salt together in a bowl, add the eggs, previously beaten with 2 cups of milk and, when the mixture is quite smooth, add half the melted butter and the remainder of the milk.
Let the mixture stand for 1 hour.
Beat again just before using.
Heat the pancake pan, put a little butter in it, and make pancakes in usual manner.
