Ingredients :
- 2 C. flour plus more for pans
- 1/2 C. granulated sugar
- 1/2 C. packed light or dark brown sugar
- 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 T. vegetable oil
- 1/3 C. milk
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 C. mashed bananas (2-3 bananas)
- 1 C. chopped nuts (whatever variety liked except peanuts)
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
Directions :
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Grease and flour bread loaf pan.
- Combine all dry ingredients.
- Add remaining ingredients except nuts and beat until well blended.
- Fold in nuts.
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes.
- To check for doneness, insert toothpick into center of loaf.
- Loaf is done when toothpick comes out clean.
