- 1/2 lb. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 3 c. cake flour, 3 c. all purpose minus 6 tbsp.
- 3 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 5 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. each: lemon extract, rum extract, coconut extract, almond extract, and vanilla extract
Directions :
- Cream butter and Crisco together.
- Sift flour, sugar and baking powder together.
- Set aside.
- Add eggs and milk to butter and Crisco.
- Mix well.
- Add dry ingredients to mixture.
- Mix well.
- Add flavorings last.
- Bake in a greased and floured tube pan in a preheated 325 degree oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Cool in pan 15 minutes.
- Invert onto serving plate and cool completely.
